SPRING 2019 SOCCER REGISTRATION

COACHES, PLAYERS and REFEREES: PER CJSA REQUIREMENTS, WE HAVE MIGRATED OUR ONLINE REGISTRATION PROCESS TO A NEW PORTAL.

Dear BYS Members: Beginning with the spring 2019 season, the CJSA has mandated that all member leagues migrate their online registration to a unified statewide service provider.  Our registration portal is: http://brooklyn.cjsalive.org/home.php.  We will be required to use this portal for all registrations from the Spring 2019 season forward.  Similar to our current website, parents/guardians will need to create online profiles in order to register children and to register as a coach-volunteer. Your login credentials and passwords will NOT transfer. You need to create new profiles and login credentials. (NOTE: For those who coached the fall 2018 season, you already have profiles, because you were required the complete a registration process in the fall.)  The new website is already up and running, so you can register by doing the following:

1. Navigate to http://brooklyn.cjsalive.org/home.php

2. Select the "Login" button in the top right corner

3. Select the "New here. Create Account" just below the login credential spaces. (NOTE: For coaches who volunteered at BYS this fall, you were already required to register in the new portal, so you may use the profile and login credentials you already created.)

4. Follow the prompts for creating profiles for ALL adults and children in you would like to register in the new system

5. You should receive a confirmation email from the system that you have successfully created your profile(s) when done.

6. This system should allow adults to complete the player registration and coach-volunteer registration in one step.  Before exiting the process, the system should ask if there are any additional registrations you would like to complete.  Just select the appropriate registration.

PLEASE MAKE AN EFFORT TO REGISTER EARLY!!!  This is a brand new system to us (and the CJSA), so there are bound to be issues, and we’d like time to resolve them early on.  Please be patient with any glitches or issues, but report them to brooklynyouthsoccer@gmail.com so I can report them.

John Newson, BYS President
